Cinder Terrace
A cliffside terrace of succulents and silver grasses. One bench. The Pacific as the only ornament.

Olive Court
A walled courtyard rebuilt around three existing olives. Gravel, a low fountain, terracotta that already knew the light.
2023 · Hudson Valley, New York
The Quiet Meadow
Ten acres returned to native meadow, with a timber pavilion at the tree line. Mowing paths, not lawn.
2020 · Bainbridge Island, Washington
Cedar Walk
A woodland path opened through existing cedars. Moss kept, understory edited, a stone bench where the light pools.

Lantern House Garden
A courtyard of raked gravel, one maple, and a timber veranda. The house already knew how to sit still.
